I Lava You Diffuser Blend

The Diffuser Blend this month is the I Lava You Diffuser Blend, which would make a great Valentine’s gift for yourself or someone you love! I recently purchased a larger essential oils diffuser for our family room (find it HERE), since it is such a large open space. It worked nicely at diffusing the I Lava You Diffuser Blend throughout the room in my home.

 

 

Recipe #1: Mermaid Mud Mask

One of my favorite ways to self pamper myself is with a soothing face mask. This Mermaid Mud Mask is easy to whip up and smells so wonderful. For the Mermaid Mud Mask, you’ll need 1 tablespoon sea clay (included in your box), 1 tablespoon plain yogurt, 1 teaspoon honey, 2 drops Geranium Essential Oil, 1 drop Basil Essential Oil and water.

 

 

To make the Mermaid Mud Mask:

  1. In a small bowl, thoroughly mix yogurt, honey and essential oils.
  2. Add clay to the mixture and stir to mix.
  3. If desired, you can add a small amount of water and stir to make the consistency of the mask thinner.

To use: Apply to face avoiding your eyes and mouth. Allow the mask to partially dry on your face for 10-15 minutes. Gently wipe away the mask using warm water and a soft cloth. Dab face gently with a towel to dry. Follow up with a moisturizer or face serum. This recipe is best used immediately, but can be stored in the fridge.

 

 

Recipe 2 & 3: Happy Day Body Spray & Day Dream Roll On

This month’s recipe box came with two beautiful glass bottles for the Happy Day Body Spray and Day Dream Roll On. I can’t wait to display these glass bottles somewhere special in my home.

 

To make the Happy Day Body Spray, you’ll need 1/2 teaspoon fractionated coconut oil, 1 drop Lava Essential Oil Blend, 1 drop Happy Joy Essential Oil Blend, distilled water and a 10 mL glass spray bottle.

 

Do make the Happy Day Body Spray:

  1. Add fractionated coconut oil and essential oils to the bottle. Shake to mix.
  2. Fill the rest of the bottle with water.
  3. To use, shake and spray for an uplifting and energizing aroma to help support joy.

 

To make the Day Dream Roll On, you’ll need 2 drops of Happy Joy Blend, 2 drops Lava Essential Oil Blend, 1 drop Geranium Essential Oil and ~8 mL prism roll-on container.

 

Do make the Day Dream Roll On:

  1. Remove roller cap from roll on.
  2. Add essential oils and swirl to mix.
  3. Fill the container the rest of the way with fractionated coconut oil.
  4. Replace cap and shake to mix for 30 seconds. To use, apply Day Dream Roll On to pulse points to help promote calm. Store out of sunlight.
