This Spring has been so busy in our household! After having such a laid back Spring last year, where we took a lot of walks, put together puzzles, devoured DoorDash deliveries and had time to watch all the Netflix shows… this Spring we are making up for it by doing lots of running around to sporting and school events, getting our vaccine shots (and comparing notes on what symptoms we had with it with our family/friends), putting makeup on a little more and planning an actual real life vacation to the beach for my daughter’s dance nationals this summer. Yes, we are being careful still… but, real life is starting to slowly wake up again. And, day by day it feels a little more ‘normal’, if normal is even a word in this lifetime anymore.
So, with this beach trip coming up, I’m all excited to start planning outfits for it. Planning cute outfits for a fun vacation is something I haven’t done in over a year! When I saw this Mauve Tie Dye Maxi Dress from PinkBlush, I knew I had to have it for our trip to Myrtle Beach. This dress checks all the beachy summer boxes, with its stretchy fabric, maxi length and it even has pockets! This dress would be super versatile in that I could wear it barefoot for a stroll along the beach at sunset, or for a coverup over a swimsuit by the pool. Visit PinkBlush to check out their huge selection of maxi dresses for the Spring and Summer.
The color of this dress is mauve, which is my tween daughter’s FAVORITE color right now. Whenever I hear the word mauve, I think about this fun little quote by the American painter, James Whistler. Mauve is just pink trying to be purple. Such a beautiful way to describe mauve!
