Clear the Air Diffuser Blend

The Diffuser Blend this month is the Clear the Air Diffuser Blend, which has a combination of essential oils in it that will deodorize the air in your room and leave it smelling clean and fresh. I recently purchased this neutral white/gray diffuser that is smaller and will fit perfectly in a decorative tray (find it HERE). It worked nicely at diffusing the Clear the Air Diffuser Blend throughout the room in my home.

 

 

Recipe #1: Multipurpose Cleaning Spray

I was really excited to make this Multipurpose Cleaning Spray recipe. Inside this recipe box, there is a cleaning tablet that was made by a local Wisconsin company. Simply Earth worked with this company to develop these cleaning tablets so that they pair perfectly with their essential oils. For the Multipurpose Cleaning Spray, you’ll need 16 oz spray bottle, ~16 oz distilled water, 13 drops Digest Essential Oil, 20 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil, 7 drops Fir Needle Essential oil and 1 Simply Earth cleaning tablet.

 

To make the Multipurpose Cleaning Spray:

  1. Add tablet and essential oils to a 16 oz spray bottle.
  2. Add distilled water and shake to mix. Allow tablet to fizz away.
  3. To use, spray on surfaces and wipe away. Some separation between the essential oils and the mixture may occur. If this happens, shake before spraying.

 

Recipe 2: Cooling Massage Oil

The Cooling Massage Oil can be used to relax sore muscles or smooth some on your chest to help open up your airways if you’re suffering from a cold or allergies. To make the Cooling Massage Oil, you’ll need 2 teaspoon fractionated coconut oil, 1 pinch of the menthol crystals, 6 drops Fir Needle Essential Oil, 2 drops Cajeput Essential Oil, 2 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil and the Serum container (included in box).

 

To make the Cooling Massage Oil:

  1. Put the fractionated coconut oil in a small pyrex bowl and microwave in 30 minute intervals until fully melted.
  2. Add menthol crystal oils and stir.
  3. Add essential oils and stir.
  4. Pour contents into serum container. To use, drop some of the serum into your hands and massage onto affected area for soothing relief.
