Find a Rainbow Diffuser Blend

The Diffuser Blend this month is Find a Rainbow Diffuser Blend, which has a combination of essential oils in it that soothe and calm you. I recently purchased this neutral white/gray diffuser that is smaller and will fit perfectly in a decorative tray (find it HERE). It worked nicely at diffusing the Find a Rainbow Diffuser Blend throughout the room in my home.

 

 

Recipe #1: Unicorn Soap

The last few years, I have really been a huge fan of bar soap in the shower. This Unicorn Soap looks like a fun morning mood booster. Add sprinkles to it to make it even more colorful! For the Unicorn Soap, you’ll need 2 oz Melt and Pour Soap Base, 1/4 Teaspoon Mica Powder, 1 teaspoon Rubbing Alcohol, 5 drops Grapefruit Essential Oil, 5 drops Mandarin Essential Oil, Sprinkles and the included Soap Mold.

 

To make the Unicorn Soap:

  1. Using a microwave in short bursts, melt the soap base.
  2. While the soap is melting, mix together the mica powder and rubbing alcohol in a small bowl.
  3. Once the soap is melted, add the essential oils and stir.
  4. Pour half the soap mixture into the mica powder mixture. Stir to mix.
  5. Add sprinkles to the bottom of the soap mold. Prop the soap mold slightly up off the counter on one side using a lid, so that the soap mold is angled upwards on one side.
  6. Pour the clear soap into the mold. Wait for 2~ minutes or until the soap starts to harden.
  7. Spray the soap with rubbing alcohol and replace the soap mold into a flat position.
  8. Pour the colored soap into the mold, re-melting the soap in the microwave if necessary.
  9. Allow the soap to totally cool and remove it from the mold.

 

 

Recipe 2: Citrus Joy Roll-On

Do you want to add a little joy to your day? This Citrus Joy Roll-On will do the trick! To make the Citrus Joy Roll-On, you’ll need 2 drops of Grapefruit Essential Oil, 1 drop Mandarin Essential Oil, 10 mL fractionated coconut oil and a 10 mL roll-on bottle.

 

To make the Citrus Joy Roll-On:

  1. Add essential oils to roll-on bottle.
  2. Fill the rest of the way with fractionated coconut oil. Shake to mix.
  3. To use, apply to pulse points to promote feelings of joy.
