Spring Rain Diffuser Blend

The Diffuser Blend this month is the Spring Rain Diffuser Blend, which has a combination of essential oils in it that will soothe you and have your home smelling like the start of Spring! This blend has 2 drops Beauty Within Essential Oil, 3 drops Coriander Essential Oil and 1 drop Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil. I recently purchased this neutral white/gray diffuser that is smaller and will fit perfectly in a decorative tray (find it HERE). It worked nicely at diffusing the Home Remedy Diffuser Blend throughout the room in my home.

 

 

Recipe #1: Gentle Face Cleanser

I’m excited that this month’s recipes focus on skincare for your face, because I’m all about a good beauty regimen! This Gentle Face Cleanser is a perfect everyday cleanser that won’t irritate or dry out your face. For the Gentle Face Cleanser, you’ll need 2 teaspoon Simply Earth Face Wash Powder, 1/4 teaspoon almond oil, 1 drop Beauty Within Essential Oil Blend and a small bowl.

 

To make the Gentle Face Cleanser:

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the essential oil and almond oil.
  2. Add the Simply Earth Face Wash Powder to the oils and stir until evenly combined. Place your mixture in a small container.
  3. To use, wet face. Place a pea-sized amount of the Gentle Face Cleanser onto hands. Add a small amount of water and rub the cleanser until it forms a lather. Apply to face and rinse away.

 

 

Recipe 2: Pore Clarifying Face Mask

I am ALL for a face mask that will clean out all the gunk in my pores and this Pore Clarifying Face Mask will do the trick! To make the Pore Clarifying Face Mask you’ll need 1/2 tablespoon rose kaolin clay, ~1 teaspoon witch hazel, 1/2 teaspoon almond oil and 1 drop Lemon Eucalyptus Essential Oil.

 

To make the Pore Clarifying Face Mask:

  1. In a small bowl, stir together almond oil and essential oil for at least 30 seconds.
  2. Gradually add clay to the mixture while stirring.
  3. Add witch hazel a little at a time until the mixture is a spreadable consistency.
  4. To use, apply to face. Allow to dry for about 20 minutes. Gently rinse away mask with warm water.

Note: Clay masks can leave the skin temporarily red. This typically subsides within 30 minutes.
