Happy Friday Everyone!
One – Aurora, our new rag doll baby!
Happy Friday, friends! This will be my last post until 2024 and I’ll be back with a post on Monday, January 8th. I’m taking some time off to relax, reflect and enjoy some delicious food, celebrate and enjoy some down time with family. This Friday Five will be short and sweet, because… we all have things to do with the holidays almost here!!
Well, if you’ve been watching my IG Stories, you’ll know we now have TWO rag doll kittens. We brought home Little Miss Aurora and she has such a sweet baby girl! I won’t subject you all to a ton of kitten photos on here, but if you like that kind of things you can follow Oliver’s Instagram page HERE. You’ll see Ollie and Aurora together over there. And, in the photo above you’ll see that Autumn got her braces off. Yay, no more orthodontist appointments after we finish up with her last retainer visit.
Two – Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving was a great day! We went out to eat with my mom, brother and SIL. We had a great meal and then afterwards we relaxed the rest of the day.
Three – Latest Happenings
Autumn’s birthday is right before Thanksgiving and thankfully we were able to get 8 of her friends over for a very last minute party right before the holiday. She turned 15, so I am not sure if she’ll be getting her driver’s permit soon or if she’ll wait a bit. Nathan did not wait. Ha! It is unreal to me that she has 3 years left till she’s 18… and, she is my baby!
Well, Nathan’s high school cross country is done! I will miss it!! He had the cross country banquet and he gave a speech and it brought me to tears! He had such great coaches, a great team and he really improved throughout the 4 years that he ran.
I always enjoy a trip to the Gingerbread Shoppe every holiday season. It is inside Kirkwood Farmers Market. I almost brought one of these adorable reindeer home!
Four – Latest Book I’ve Read & Shows I’ve Watched
The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley – I really enjoyed this book, it kept me guessing up to the very end! Ben’s sister Jess is coming into Paris to stay with him, yet when she arrives at his apartment he has gone missing. His wallet and keys are still there, so she’s puzzled when he never returns. She seeks out his friend Nick, who is his neighbor and helped him secure the apartment, but he isn’t much help. Every floor of this apartment place has different owners and they all have their own little story and pieces that help Jess figure out little by little how to possibly find her brother. The concierge seems to know more than she is willing to share, but warns Jess to stay away. This book was great to read during the fall, it is a bit spooky yet keeps you guessing!

I’m an ambassador for Erin Condren and I was excited to win this Medium Asterik Zip Organizer on one of their recent Zoom calls. Yay! It can be used to store your Erin Condren books, pens, or it could even serve as a lunch box! I love it!
With two new kittens, we need a lot of cat toys, so I decided to subscribe to the KitNipBox, which is a monthly cat subscription box. You can order it with the food/treats or with just toys. We have gotten it for 2 months and I’ve been really impressed with it so far. If you’re interested in trying one out for your cat, I’d love for you to use my referral link HERE, it’ll help Oliver and Aurora earn a free box! Yay!
