Hey everyone! I am excited to have a decor post up today with my Valentine’s Day Porch Refresh. I tried to blend in a winter themed porch with some Valentine’s Day highlights, so that I can remove the pinks/hearts after Valentine’s Day and it’ll take me to at least March. I hate having a bare porch after Christmas, it is just SO depressing and gloomy. We have a ranch style house and this house has such a LOOONG porch, so it looks EXTRA empty after the holidays.
I am really pleased with how everything turned out and I’ll be linking the Amazon/Etsy items below the photos. Everything is fairly new, so it should all still be in stock.

I thought about putting up a Valentine’s Day wreath, BUUUT like I said, I really wanted a porch that would take me from the end of the holidays to March, so I went with something more wintery. This way, I only have to store away ONE wreath versus two… so, I think that is a win! I found this personalized wooden circle wreath on Etsy and OH my, the shop has SO many different wood color options (and sizes!), ribbon colors/patterns and sayings. Be sure to check out Etsy Sweetie Sign Company shop HERE.

I went with a winter themed doormat too, with a snowflake on it to match the wreath on my door. However, to give a little Valentine’s Day feel, I kept my red lined doormat from Christmas under it. I can change it to my black and white one after Valentine’s Day.

A garden flag is an easy way to add a little color during the winter. I went with a Valentine’s Day one that I thought was cute.

Here is an overall porch view with all of the Valentine’s Day decor. We have quite a large porch, so sometimes it is a little challenging to decorate it… especially during the winter!

I found these heart pillows on Amazon and they come in different sizes. I pinned them together, so they be more secure. I added some velvet pink ribbon to the white lanterns.

Here is a close up of the velvet ribbon I tied to the top of the lantern. These wood/metal lanterns come in a set of 2 and they are 2 different heights. I’ve loved them so far and decorate them differently each season. They come in a few different colors.

I really wanted to get some artificial topiary trees for the two pots on our front porch on each side of the door. I did a lot of research on Amazon and settled on THESE. They are AMAZING! They look real, are sturdy and they’re the perfect height. I ordered the 3′ ones, but they come in 4′ and 5′. You’ll see I tied a velvet ribbon bow on the top, just like I did on the lanterns.

I wanted something to ‘fill in’ the pot at the base, so I purchased a box of decorative white birch logs and a package of cones, berries and pine branches.
I hope this post gave you some ideas on how to spruce up your porch for the winter. Thanks for stopping by!
