I’m back with my monthly Let’s Look post. I’ll be sharing ‘Podcasts & Shows We Binge’.
Shay from Mix and Match Mama is doing this monthly link up with her friend Erika and they give you a prompt for each month of the year to “look” at different aspects of your lives, to blog about it and share your blog post on her link up.
So, let’s get started… Let’s Look: Podcasts & Shows We Binge {July Prompt}
My Favorite Podcasts
I do A LOT of driving, so I enjoy listening to a Podcast or an Audiobook while driving. I typically prefer educational Podcasts, so here are a few of my faves:
Mastering Media from Hometalk, Inc. – I went through and watched all of these from start to present… they are little golden nuggets of information. I’ve taken down a lot of notes and I really need to go back and implement some of these when I have the time. KariAnne Wood that blogs over at Thistlewood leads these chats with experts on various topics and she makes it so fun… and I love her Southern drawl.
Thrive: The Podcast for Bloggers & Influencers – I found out about Bree on her Thrive Facebook Group and since then I’ve really enjoyed her podcast. She covers a wide range of topics including ones that are hot or trendy, money making strategies and even basic stuff such as how to start a blog.
I enjoy other Podcasts from time to time… but, I’ve been more into books lately, so the above 2 podcasts are the main ones I’m staying up with right now. I’m really curious to find some new podcasts I may love though, so I can’t wait to see what others share for this topic!
My Favorite Shows to Binge
I enjoy a lot of shows! I would say if I was going to go back and binge some old ones, I’d start with Sex and the City, The Office, The Golden Girls, Friends, etc., etc. SO many good ones to go back and watch over and over again!
Recently, I watched/binged some shows/mini-series based off books I’ve read:
Apples Never Fall
Lessons In Chemistry
The Tattooist of Auschwitz
I covered my thoughts on these in some of my Friday Five posts, so I won’t go into them again… all of them were excellent! If you love something very Hallmarky, my mom, brother and SIL are all watching When Calls the Heart (it’s on Peacock). I watched one episode just to see what it was all about… very cute. Unfortunately, there is 11 seasons and Peacock only has it starting at season 8 right now.
Anyway, that is all I have for today. We just got back from our Disney cruise, so I’m still trying to catch up… therefore this will be my only post this week. Take care!
If you’re interested in following along, the prompt for August is… What’s In Our Pantry. I’d love to see you join in, I think this will be a lot of fun!
