I’m back with my monthly Let’s Look post. I’ll be sharing ‘Our Quick Weeknight Dinners’.
Shay from Mix and Match Mama is doing this monthly link up with her friend Erika and they give you a prompt for each month of the year to “look” at different aspects of your lives, to blog about it and share your blog post on her link up.
So, let’s get started… Let’s Look: Our Quick Weeknight Dinners {September Prompt}
Let’s be honest… the most perfect quick dinner for me is a plate of charcuterie! Except, I’d eat wayyy too much cheese and crackers! And wine! Sadly, charcuterie for dinner is saved for special occasions. But, I’m sharing some of our Favorite Quick Dinners with you today from my recipe archives!
Hearty and Creamy White Chicken Lasagna Soup
Do you crave a warm and comforting soup in the winter? I have you covered with this Hearty and Creamy White Chicken Lasagna Soup. This savory and creamy soup is flavored with Italian spices and is full of protein. The lasagna noodles are simmered in the broth and will enlighten your tastebuds. This is the perfect dish to serve your family or guests on a cool and blustery evening.
Easy and Tasty Foil Packet BBQ Meal
The Easy and Tasty Foil Packet BBQ Meal is one of my favorite meals during the summer, because it all cooks in the foil packet on the grill. Little to clean up and it is SO delicious! You can also make these up the night or morning before and they are ready to be placed on the grill for dinner! I like to serve a fruit salad or some fresh watermelon with it. I sometimes drizzle some steak sauce on the meatballs or the teens enjoy ketchup with the meatballs. If you want to make this once the weather turns cooler place the foil packets in your oven on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes to an hour (or until meatballs are cooked through).
Sausage and Beer Mac and Cheese
Mac and cheese is usually a dish that I think of as a side for a BBQ or as comfort food on a cold winter night. However, you can make this a quick meal by grilling (or baking) smoked sausage links and adding them to the pasta. It gives it a nice rich and naturally hardwood smoked flavor that makes your mouth water! You’ll really love this Sausage and Beer Mac and Cheese, it is mac and cheese for grown ups!
Lasagna is always a comforting and popular family dish. However, sometimes it is nice to change it up a bit from the common lasagna dish we are used to. Today I’m sharing my favorite Creamy White Chicken Lasagna dish, which is also one of my most pinned pins on Pinterest!
Savory & Flavorful Red Chicken Chili
I enjoy planning out our weekly meals and I love adding chili to the list, because it can easily feed our family of four for a couple nights. BUSH’S Chili Beans are my ABSOLUTE fave to use in chili. This Savory & Flavorful Red Chicken Chili has the perfect harmony of flavors in one bowl that’ll make you want to come back for more. I’ve been making this recipe since my early twenties when I fell in love with it at a chili party at work. It is SO good!
Cheesy and Buttery Chicken Broth Noodles Bowl
When the weather gets cooler and the holidays start to approach, I love to make meals that are warm and comforting for my family. This Cheesy and Buttery Chicken Broth Noodles Bowl recipe is a light and easy recipe that can be put on the dinner table quickly. It has so much flavor and will be enjoyed by adults and children alike.
I hope you enjoyed these recipes! They’re some of my most popular pins on Pinterest and my entire family loves each one.
