It’s time for another Trendy Tot Tuesday with Mrs In Training, Lindsay and Megan. Today I am sharing Autumn’s gray and neon yellow color block skirt I found for her at Old Navy. I am loving neon, especially neon yellow right now and when I saw this skirt I couldn’t pass it up. It even has built in shorts, which make me love this skirt even more!
Autumn’s hair has gotten so long and I have been having a lot of fun with it. I put in a side french braid, then wrapped it around a pony tail… however, she is so rough on her hair that it is pretty messed up in this photo. I had just redone it before we left the house for the park, too! Sigh!
Here she is on the swing, she’s on the baby swing, because the other swings were SO high off the ground she couldn’t even touch the ground with her feet. I hate when parks do that! I love swing photos!
Climbing the walk wall… I really sort of had a Mommy fail with this park… I’ve been wanting to take the kids to Whitecliff Park for awhile now, I used to come here as a kid and I heard the playground was fairly new. Well, that was all great until we got there and there is a HUGE community pool (there was even a lazy river ride)… SO, the kids wanted to swim, not play on the playground. OOPS. Even if I would have had their suits, its a community ONLY pool, so we couldn’t even pay to swim! Its always nice to smell chlorine and see a nice sparkly pool next door… ahhh, OOPS.
Autumn got about halfway up the rock climbing wall and cried for help, but Nathan was a pro at it… being 7 and all. 😉
I didn’t realize it when I bought it, but this skirt is REALLY hard to match with other items in her closet. I found this Gymboree flip flop shirt with a touch of neon yellow on the bottom of the left flip flop and went with it. I think the glass beaded necklace she is wearing helps tie in all of the colors, too.
Such a pretty sky. Not sure if that’s a pretty face in the first picture. ha!
Photographing these two together is i.m.p.o.s.s.i.b.l.e. Nathan is just wearing Old Navy, too… all boys love Batman.
There were these beautiful yellow follows I wanted to photograph Autumn next to for this post, but she wouldn’t even let me take her picture. Finally, she agreed to let me photograph her in front of these tall grasses. Such a cutie. But, ohhh. I would have loved those yellow flowers to be in the background. Sighhhhh.
Just one more shot of Nathan. He’s a lot easier to talk into photographing. 😉
