It is crazy how many Halloween themed blog posts I have done recently… it seems we do SO many Halloween/fall activities before Halloween even arrives! Last week, Nathan had his Halloween party for Cub scouts. They had a neat game where each kid had to search for a prize in a pot of cooked (not hot) spaghetti noodles and grapes (eyeballs). The slimy texture really freaked out a lot of the kids… ha, ha! Nathan pulled out a googly eyed ring.
Then, Nathan got to come up for his Bobcat badge that he has been working towards… I had no idea I would get a Mother’s pin to go with it, too! Here is Nathan putting the pin on me.
My pin… seriously, if I had known I was going to be going up to get a special pin from my special boy, I would have looked a little less ragged that night!

Next, the kids got to make their own snacks. They filled a plastic glove with candy corn for nails, popcorn for the fingers then a special trail mix for the rest of the hand.
