Our library has a Family Night every month during the school year. I have taken the kids to a few of them, like a few months ago we went to the Pancake night and here we are at the animal night. It was a lot of fun, they had 10 different dogs there (different breeds, too) and the kids got to spend 5 minutes reading a book to each dog. This Irish Setter was named Molly, she was SO sweet (and BIG!). It was funny because Brian said, oh she is definitely too big to be a lap dog, and then she got in his lap! Ha! The kids just loved seeing all of the different dogs.
They also had coloring and games. Gotta love Nathan’s CHEESE and LEAVE ME ALONE combo smile that he has going here.
The kids made paper puppets. Autumn did this one (I wish I had gotten a photo of Nathan’s) and she did such a good job. She actually cut out all of those whiskers by herself, and I helped her glue them on her kitty.
