I have worked at the same place for almost 9 years… I used to complain about how I never won nuttin’. I didn’t! But, this year… I won CARDINALS OPENING DAY TICKETS!
The weather was pretty cruddy, cold and rainy. The kind of weather that just makes me want to go home and crawl under my electric blanket. But, after an hour rain delay, we got to enjoy the Opening Day festivities. They brought out the retired ball players, and all the players individually on trucks. And, the seats weren’t too shabby

Brian was the lucky guy that I decided to take with me. He didn’t complain too much.
Here I am, this was while we were waiting for the rain delay to pass. That was the only Bud Light I had, because I didn’t want to ruin my performance come Sunday for my Half Marathon (post to come soon).
The game was a lot of fun. We even almost got hit in the head by a ball. I am sort of a ball magnetic, and when I looked up I saw a ball coming right at me. Luckily, I ducked and it didn’t even come close to me… but, it hit the chair of the guy next to Brian. Of course, we didn’t score the stray ball, but at least I didn’t leave with a concussion. Ha, ha! What a fun time!
