Treat yourself with a simple Easter dessert that’s perfect for spring. These Strawberry Glazed Cadbury Biscuits are a 6-ingredient treat that’s ready in under 25 minutes. Bright, cheerful, and decadent, no one can resist this chocolate filled delight!
These Strawberry Glazed Cadbury Biscuits have a delicious chocolate and cream filling with a homemade strawberry glaze on top. If you want a little crunch, add some crushed malted eggs on top of the glazed covered biscuits. This gives the recipe a hint of color and your guests will be ooh’ing and ahh’ing over this spring dessert before they even take a bite and discover the surprise cream filling!
The strawberry glaze is so delicious with the chocolate cream eggs. For me, strawberry and chocolate just go hand in hand. If you don’t like strawberry, you can always whip up a quick and easy white sugar glaze instead!
The strawberry glaze is made from scratch, but only requires fresh strawberries, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar. You do need a blender or food processor to blend it to a smooth consistency.
The biscuits are topped with crushed malted eggs, but you could also top them with spring colored sprinkles if you prefer.
The chocolate surprise in these biscuits is the best part! Cadbury Eggs have always been my favorite Easter treat and they are even better in these biscuits. These biscuits are kind of a fancy and chocolatey take on hot cross buns, in my opinion. Plus, there is such a variety in chocolate eggs in the Easter aisle, you could use the all chocolate eggs, the turtle variety, or any of your other favorites. The possibilities are endless!
These biscuits keep for a few days if you cover them. They are best served warm, so I usually pop them in the microwave for 18 seconds to reheat them before serving.
