If you recall, I had both Nathan and Autumn plant sunflower seeds in the Spring. We’ve done yellow sunflowers, this year I wanted to try out red sunflowers. Here is the first one that bloomed, Nathan’s! It is ALMOST as tall as him! Not bad, figuring it is growing in a pot with not a lot of dirt. I did move two of them to the yard and they are still growing but no buds yet. Nathan’s sunflower has two other buds on the same stalk that should bloom soon, too! That will be so pretty! He was so proud of it!
Autumn’s hasn’t bloomed yet, but its getting there!! Hers are on the left (there is 2 or 3 of them).
Can’t wait to do pumpkins next year!
