Here is my new list 🙂
1. Clean Organize Basement – I want to clean out the exercise/crafts/electric train board side of the basement this week. Last week, I did an excellent job at cleaning out the office area… Also, I want to vacuum and then carpet shampoo the office section that I just finished cleaning.
2. Craig’s List – Didn’t get anything posted last week… I want to try to get 2-3 items listed a week, I usually do the trade at my work since it is a guarded building/lot. I might give some crud to Good Will, too.
3. Reading – Read 10% more of Pillars of the Earth. I actually did REALLY good last week, I read 15%, so I was at 60% and now I’m 75% of the way through. Like I have said, I have been reading this book since August! So, this is great. :o)- I read some during my Lush bath, while in the ER with Nathan and during one of my lunch breaks. The book is realllly good! I am already thinking of the next books I want to read… probably Water for Elephants, and then The Gifts of Imperfections by Brene Brown. Which, I must say… I am SO excited! I signed up for Dream Lab, and it started today! The topic is perfect for me… Spring Cleaning for the Soul.
I am keeping my list to just THREE bullet points this week, so that it is easier to achieve them. Exercise I am going to put on the back burner for a couple of weeks, because once I get back into it, I want to try to keep with my routine. Unfortunately, I am going to drop out of the 500 miles in 2011. I did it last year, but this year is different. The divorce has taken a lot out of me, and I know exercise is good… but, I am SO tired at the end of the day after working and tending to two kids. So, once I get back in, I want to be sure I can stick to it. Right now, reading and organizing my home is much more important to me… the reading gives me some relaxation after a highly active day at work and tending to two active kids. Cleaning the house helps make it feel more like I am making it my own, and I can clear out what was once Jeremi. I am leaving some Jeremi momentos for the kids, but a lot of things I am returning to him. We lived here 8 years together, so its a lot. And, honestly, having less reminders, is really the best for me right now. I do miss running A LOT, though. And, it does make me sad that I don’t have time for it right now… I made so much progress last year with two 5K’s and even a 10K. I will get back into it, I know I will… But, I also know I need a break from it right now.
