Happy Friday! I hope everyone has everything almost done for the holidays! We baked cookies yesterday, the gifts are wrapped and today I’ll be going to the grocery store and prepping food for my family that is coming over on Christmas Eve.
Today I want to share a really neat subscription box company with you called GlobeIn. Their boxes would make a great gift idea for a hostess gift, January birthday (because it can be SO hard to gift someone after the holidays!), to cheer up a friend or just for yourself!
Every piece in the GlobeIn box empowers women artisans around the world through job creation and fair wages.
You can now save $10 off with a purchase of 3- and 6- month Artisan Box subscriptions with the code CURLYCRAFTY.
There are SO many boxes to pick from. The box that I selected was the Picnic Basket Box.
They had several other great boxes, though:
The Cozy Box (Left) and The Memory Box (Right)
The Jewelry Box (Left) and The Entertain Box (Right)
You can click on each box to see what the handmade contents are and many of the boxes have great reviews and photos that tell you more about the quality and fine details of the box.
Here is what I received with the GlobeIn Picnic Box. On the website it said that colors would vary, so I received a different plaid print for my picnic basket blanket than you’ll see on the site.
With this box I received:
Peace Picnic Blanket
Wood Travel Cutting Board
Painted Travel Cup
Bottle Basket
All of these were great items and I will put them to use! I know it is the winter now, but we have a lot of picnics on the floor at home when we can’t picnic outside!
The wood travel cutting board is what sold me on this box! I decided to dress it up with a simple caprese salad. I placed fresh tomato, sliced mozzarella, basil and some garden seasoning on top. Delicious and perfect for a picnic!
The painted travel cup is pretty and will work great for travel and at home!
You’ll see that the picnic blanket is waterproof on the backside, which is perfect if the grass is a little dewey!
You can also join the GlobeIn Club, the subscription is $10/month. With this club you’ll enjoy highly curated fair trade products at only $10/month. You’ll support thousands of artisans from over 40 countries! You can customize your empowerment pack every month with optional add-ons. You’ll save up to 50% off retail prices with Club add-ons. AND, you can cancel at any time.
So, what did my Picnic Basket Box actually do?
- It employed 60 handicapped artisans in Cambodia.
- It employed 50% more workers.
Thanks to GlobeIn for sponsoring this review. I received a GlobeIn Artisan box in exchange for my completely honest review.
