Nathan’s school picnic is this Saturday, and the teacher asked every parent to make 12 cupcakes so that she can sell them for $1.00 each at the picnic. She earned $300 last year and bought the cute rug for the classroom with it, the rug has each letter of the alphabet on it in a square, and each kid is assigned to their own square on the rug when they sit for story time, etc. Anyway, I decided to sign up for cupcakes even though we are having Nathan’s birthday party that day and will miss the picnic.
Nathan loves dirt and worms, worms and dirt.
If you have a bag of oreos and a food processor,
you can make dirt!
Isn’t this perfect for a school picnic?
Instructions:
Crush a bag of oreos
Bake 12-24 cupcakes, cool
Ice with chocolate icing
Pour crushed oreos in a bowl and swirl top of the iced cupcake into crushed oreos so that they set on the icing
Poke two holes on the top of the cupcake and stick one end of the gummy worm in one hole and let the head of the gummy worm rest on top of the other hole.
I found this cute idea on the Family Fun site…
