Dollar General has a store by our home and by the kids school, which makes it so convenient to quickly stop in to purchase what I need. Recently I found out about their Fresh Water Sparkle™ scented Gain products (EXCLUSIVE to Dollar General stores) and I’ve added them into my regular laundry regimen. With the new fall season, I’m trying to get back on track with my schedule with the kids back in school. Laundry has never been something I’ve enjoyed doing (who does?!), but today I’m sharing some tips on How You Can Actually Enjoy Laundry and just get it done already.

I picked up my NEW Gain Flings!™ Laundry Detergent Pacs in Fresh Water Sparkle scent at the Dollar General store by my kids school. These laundry detergent pacs are packed with 50% more scent than Gain liquid laundry detergent. Use with any laundry set-up, because Gain Flings!™ pacs dissolve in both hot and cold water and are HE compatible.
How to use:
Always place the pac directly into the drum before your clothes.
For larger loads, use more than one pac.

Now, I’ll share some Tips on How You Can Actually Enjoy Laundry
One – Find Something You Enjoy {Multitask}
Distract yourself while folding/putting away laundry with an enjoyable Podcast, a movie (if you have a TV in the room) or catch up on your Instagram Stories. I’ve found that bluetooth ear pods are helpful if you do this, because you can move around rooms and still listen to the Podcast, etc. I find that this helps the entire folding/putting away process go quicker and who doesn’t love to multitask?
Two – Keep a Strict Laundry Schedule
Keep a strict laundry schedule, when you can. I try to do laundry on two days and these are days that I know I’ll be at home and not running outside the home. If I start laundry on a day where I’m busy and not at home a lot, it just doesn’t get done. I usually do 3-4 loads each of these days and I devote one day to towels and sheets and the other day to clothes. I also make sure that I fold/put away the laundry on these days, to get it done and out of the way. Keeping a schedule makes the process more streamlined, you can plan for it and it won’t accumulate, which can be stressful in a household with lots of family members (and kids!!).
Three – Stay Organized & Use Products You Love
Another tip I have is that you should keep on hand the products you’ll need. There is nothing worse than to get all of your laundry into baskets and then you’re out of detergent. That is why I love that there is a Dollar General near the kids school and by our house. It’s so much easier to run into Dollar General than some big store, grab the products I need and be on my merry way!
