Today I’m sharing how you can set up a ‘Germ Free Station’ in the main are of your home with Kleenex® Wet Wipes* Germ Removal, healthy take away snacks, tissues and ‘Germ Juice’. We are a busy family that goes from morning until the evening and I don’t want germs to slow us down this cold and flu season. As a mom, it’s comforting to know that Kleenex® Wet Wipes Germ Removal* wipes are clinically proven to wipe away 99 percent of germs from skin without harsh chemicals.
I have always had a ‘do’er’ personality and I’m always thinking of the best way to get something done. I want to protect my family from germs this holiday season. I decided to put this ‘Germ Free Station’ in an out of the way corner in our kitchen, so that everyone can clean their hands or grab a healthy snack while exiting and coming back in the house. I love that Kleenex® Wet Wipes* Germ Removal gives us a way to quickly clean our hands and face, because sometimes we are only home for 5-10 minutes before we need to run out again to the next activity.
New Kleenex® Wet Wipes* Germ Removal are Made for Doers™ – people who act with purpose and aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. These wipes help me to keep going, without slowing down. Every second counts in the after school hours and these wipes have been a lifesaver! Just flip the lid up and pull a wipe out, it’s that easy!
These wipes are great when you’re in a rush or when water/soap is not readily available.
For our ‘Germ Free Station’ I also added some Germ Juice ‘anti-bacterial’ bottles that our house guests can take with them this holiday season.
I added some tissues tied with baking twine that can easily be taken while on the way out the door. I always like to carry tissues with me during cold and flu season and it is nice to be able to grab one of these easily while I’m on my way out.
Having some healthy snack options also helps for rushed mornings or afternoons. I like to make these easy protein balls:
Ingredients
1/3 Cup of Creamy Peanut Butter
¾ Cup of Rolled Oats
2 Tablespoons of Honey
1/2 Cup Mini Chocolate Chips
1/4 Cup Crushed Peanuts
Instructions
- Add peanut butter and honey to a bowl and mix together.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and stir to combine.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes and then form mixture into 1 inch balls. I always make 2 batches to fill up a jumbo mason jar.
I like to have a fruit basket on hand for the kids at all times of the year. My kids love fresh fruit and it’s easy to grab and eat on the way out the door. My kids will go through an entire fruit basket this size every week. I love that they’re fueling their body with healthy foods.
These new Kleenex® Wet Wipes* are available in three unique varieties to bring the gentle cleansing power of water to you anywhere you may need it. All are dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic and contain no alcohol.
Sometimes you just have to get dirty in order to get the job done. I count on Kleenex® Wet Wipes for a quick and easy way to wipe away the germs so I have more time in my day to do the things I love.
You can stock up on Kleenex® Wet Wipes from Walmart and set up your own ‘Germ Free Station’. Let’s fight these germs together!
