Happy Friday Everyone!
I am excited for the weekend, especially after a really, really busy week where I couldn’t seem to get caught up no matter what I tried! I can’t believe Thanksgiving is SO soon. It’ll be nice to have some down time to enjoy with my family soon… and delicious food to enjoy! My kid’s are off an entire week this year for Thanksgiving (which is a first) and my daughter’s birthday falls on that week. She is so excited to be off of school on her birthday this year! I’ll have to plan something special for her during the day… at her age, I’m sure she’ll want to go to the mall. Lol.

Four – Misc. Christmas Fun Items 🙂 
Aldi’s had WINE and Cheese Advent Calendars that they were promoting to come out in their stores on November 7th. Well, I had a dentist appointment that morning and my mom went there right when they opened and got in line. They only had 12 of the Wine Advent Calendar and my MOM GOT THE LAST ONE!! And, she also got me a Cheese Advent Calendar (and one for herself). Apparently these are hot ticket items, because people are selling them on eBay, etc.! My husband asked me this morning when I was planning on starting the Wine Advent Calendar. Ha!! I told him, December 1st! I guess he thinks I’m sharing? 😉 I was going to take a cute styled photo of both of the calendars, but I am lacking in the time department this week. This is the photo my mom took at the store.

After my dentist appointment yesterday, I stopped into Target to see if they had something I needed for Autumn’s birthday. Well, they had a lot more Christmas Dollar Tree items than my store had!! I was the most excited about the metal house (the roof has a dusting of snow), it’ll be cute paired with my white ceramic houses. I think I’m going to set the ‘Let it Snow’ sign on my coffee cup holder.
And look at these adorable Starbucks ornaments? I picked them up at Target, too… well, in the Starbucks in our store. I just love the Rose Gold one the most, but I had to have the floral one, too. I think I’m going to start collecting these! I thought maybe I could buy myself 2 every year and then ask for a few as small gifts (or stocking stuffers?).
I found this little metal golden tree on Amazon. Wouldn’t it be perfect to hang my Starbucks ornaments on?
Five – Scarf Feature 🙂
Cathy from My Side of Fifty was kind enough to feature me in her 13 Chic Ways to Wear a Scarf roundup post! I was flattered and also inspired by all of the ways you can style a scarf. I always tend to wear my scarves two different ways, so I pinned this post and plan to try out some of the other methods that these ladies have shared.
Cathy shared how I styled my blanket scarf with the tail facing the front. This scarf was in one of my FabFitFun boxes. 🙂 I love it! You can see this old post HERE.
