Happy Thursday everyone! We are enjoying Spring break over here, which has been nice. My husband and I have a trip to Maui coming up this summer and I am really looking forward to it. When I saw this Pink Palm Maxi Dress from the Gibson Resort line on Nordstrom, I KNEW I had to have it. However, upon receiving it I’m on the fence about keeping it. PLEASE let me know… Keep or No? I’ve styled the dress two ways here… one way is with a jacket and sneaks and the other way is without the jacket and some comfortable wedges. I figured the first look would be great during the day and the evening look would be nice for when we go to the Luau in the evening. The dress was out of stock for SO long that I was checking daily for it to be restocked. They have it restocked now and in a ton of different colors if you’re interested in purchasing it. I sized down to an X-Small, I usually wear a Small.

Almay was kind enough to send me a huge package of some of their most popular items. I really love their Velvet Foil Cream Shadows (no creasing!) , Brow Stylers and Shadow Trios (smoky eyes in 1-2-3!). Their Eye Makeup Removers are also my fave for myself AND my daughter who is in competitive dance.

This Pink Palm Maxi Dress is just adorable styled with a denim jacket and I thought my Monogrammed All Stars were a perfect pair with the dress. Thankfully, the length on this dress is just right… especially since I’m 5’6. It works perfectly with sneakers or even with the wedges I styled it in the other look.

In the evening, we are planning to attend a luau and I thought this dress would be perfect with its palm print, loose fit (because, I’m definitely going to be eating all the food!) and flattering neckline. I would lose the jacket, since we’ll be outside and I paired some simple wedges with the dress.
