Mother’s Day is the weekend after next! My daughter has a dance competition on Mother’s Day weekend and I am sure my Mother’s Day gift will be to get up at 5:00 a.m. to get her ready and out the door for it. Lets keep those fingers crossed that all of her performances will be on Saturday and not Sunday that weekend. 😉 Today I’m sharing my Mother’s Day Wish List with some easy to shop items from Amazon, Nordstrom and more. I’ve also included some travel items. These would make great gifts for any Mother out there!
Happy Mother’s Day Gift Set – LUSH
I love LUSH products! I enjoy taking a nice bubble bath every other week and this gift set comes with a nice variety of products. It includes The Comforter Bubble Bar, which is my absolute fave!
Beauty Sponge Blender Holder – Amazon
I’ve recently noticed these adorable holders for your Beauty Sponge Blender. I would love to display my Beauty Blender on one of these holders in my bathroom.
You’ll notice that on this wish list, I have some travel items. I’d love to have an actual case for my Beauty Blender. I read online that it is big enough to hold two sponges, so I’d probably store my regular Beauty Blender and my smaller one for my concealer in it. This will be perfect for weekend trips or longer!
The Truth About Magic Poetry Book (Hard Cover) – Atticus
I follow Atticus on Instagram and just love reading his short poetry phrases everyday. I’d love to have a hard cover of his new book to keep around the house. He’s a New York Times Bestseller and his poetry is uplifting, romantic and helps you find the simple joys in everyday life. He also loves wine (which is always a plus! Ha!).
5 Piece Packing Cube Set in Rose Gold – Nordstrom
I have a packing set already, but it isn’t as cute as this Rose Gold set! Plus… I kind of hate to admit this, but I need another packing cube set for everything that I take with me on week long trips! Lol!
Black Tassel Espadrille Sandal (Size 8 in US) – Pretty You London
Andrea from Living on Cloud Nine wore these sandals to her vacation to Grand Cayman and I just fell in love with them! See them on her HERE.
Sugar Fix by Bauble Bar Earring Set – Target
I always check out the Sugar Fix earring collection when in Target and they have these sets of two that are so cute right now for the summer. This set was my absolute fave of the bunch.
I’ve been wanting an electric griddle, so that it is easier and quicker to make grilled cheese and pancakes for my family during the dinner rush.
Le Stylo Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner (Aubergine Color) by Lancome – Nordstrom
I’ve been wanting to stock up on some waterproof makeup for the summer months! I’m hoping to hit the pool once a week with the kids and then we’ll be swimming a lot on our vacations! I’ve heard this waterproof eyeliner is great and I’d love to try it out.
Velvetine’s Waterproof Lip Liner in Pinky Swirl – Nordstrom
I’d also like to add this lip liner in Pinky Swirl to my waterproof makeup collection for this summer. I would line my lips and fill them in for long and easy wear! I’d apply my Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm on top for a little moisture.
I keep reading that it is so important to write down 3 things you’re grateful for everyday. This sets a positive mood and outlook for the rest of the day. I have the Cultivate What Matters Life Planner, so I’d love to try out her Gratitude Journal.
40 MM Gold Milanese Loop for Apple Watch – Apple
I’ve been wanting a gold band for my Apple Watch forever and when in the store recently I saw that they finally came out with one!
Portable Contact Lens Case – Amazon
We will be doing a long flight to Hawaii and I thought this portable contact lens case would be so perfect (and small) for my bag.
Navy Chambray (Size 8) TOMS – Nordstrom
I just LOVE TOMS! They are so comfortable and simple. These chambray ones I know I would wear on repeat all summer long, especially on excursions with the kids!
Blush Nylon Fanny Pack – Target
This blush fanny pack is just so cute and I love the gold zipper. This would be perfect for our Disney trip, it is nylon and would work great at the theme parks!
Personal Chef
I’ve been SO burned out on cooking dinner lately and I’ve been struggling with finding healthy foods to eat that the kids will also eat. I feel like I prepare the same meals over and over again. I have been looking into some personal chef services and the costs/time saving and I’ve been thinking about trying one out every other week. It’d be fun to be gifted one for a month to try it out. They basically come once a week with your groceries and prepare a fresh entree with a side and you can have them prepare 3-5 meals (for X amount of people, for us that would be 2-4, depending if the kids ate at home that night) at a time and then you warm them up the rest of the week. They use your kitchen and store everything in your refrigerator. Not sure if anyone has tried this, but doesn’t it sound dreamy? It would definitely be on of those time saving in exchange for additional cost kind of things, though. I’ve looked into Casie’s Cuisine (an individual chef) and Friend That Cooks (a chain that offers personal chefs).
