Welcome to Thursday Fashion Files with Carrie at Curly Crafty Momand Jill at Doused in Pink. I’m excited to have you here and would love to have you link up one of your latest outfits at the bottom of this post. I always enjoy ordering a Stitch Fix box every new season, because who doesn’t love new clothes? I believe this is box #15 for me! For this box, I asked for some early Fall tops and bottoms. This box did not disappoint and I landed up keeping a couple of pieces in it that went nicely together.
Item One and Two
Papermoon Larie Crew Neck Blouse $44.00 – Kept
Driftwood Rosalee Embroidered Scissor Cut Hem Skinny Jean $98.00 – Kept
When I saw this floral yellow top and these embroidered raw hem jeans in the box, I knew that if they fit I would be keeping them! Yellow is a new color in my wardrobe and it makes me think of Fall! I did land up keeping both of these items, although the jeans were $98! Ouch! BUT, I know I’ll be wearing them at least once a week, so they’ll get plenty of wear. I love me a good pair of jeans and I have been wanting an embroidered pair for awhile.
This floral top is light-weight, has flowing mid-length sleeves and I know it’ll be great to wear during this transitional weather period of cool mornings and evenings and hot afternoons.
Draper James Naisha Button Down Top $78.00 – Returned
I received a chambray top, which I really loved… but, the material was a little too thick for my taste and I already have a few chambray tops in my closet. I did like the mid-length sleeves, v-neck front and the little ruched details on the sleeves.
Item Four
Tailor Vintage Marquesa Button Down Flannel Shirt $68.00 – Returned
There was nothing extra special about this flannel shirt and honestly… I wasn’t crazy about it. It wasn’t soft, it seemed a little too small and it had a weird paisley print on the inside of the sleeves (that you would see if you rolled them up) and on the collar. If you want a wonderful soft as butter flannel shirt, I suggest going to American Eagle.
Item Five
Fate Money Confetti Detail Pullover $68.00 – Returned
When I saw this confetti sweater, I really loved it… but, I knew I’d burn up with it on!! I do love layering pieces, but I don’t usually wear pull over sweaters as a layer, because my hair gets staticky/messed up whenever I pull something on and off that doesn’t have buttons. But, ohhh… it was such a cute sweater! I was sad to let it go back.
Stitch Fix is sort of like having your own personal shopper! You fill out a survey online (it includes photos of different outfits) and it helps them decide which outfits and which price range you fit into. They send you 5 pieces (tops, bottoms, accessories, jewelry, etc., etc.) and you decide which items you want to keep. After you’ve decided what you want to keep, you ship the rest back within 3 business days. If you buy all of the items you get a discount. There is a monthly fee of $20 that you will lose if you do not buy any of the 5 items. But, if you buy just one item they will subtract that $20 from your order.
And, if you sign up using my code, you’ll get $25.00 off your next Stitch Fix box! To sign up under me, click HERE.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday! Which items from this box did you love?
