The Diffuser Blend this month is the Defeat the Reek Diffuser Blend, which helps to deodorize and neutralize odors with its Clove, Lemon Eucalyptus and Blood Orange Essential Oil Blends. I whipped it up in THIS essential oils diffuser I found off Amazon. It comes in several different colors and I love its compact size and neutral color. It worked nicely at diffusing the Defeat the Reek Diffuser Blend throughout the room in my home.
Recipe #1: Drawer Deodorizer
When I saw the recipe for this Drawer Deodorizer, I thought about how perfect it would be for my drawer where I keep my freshly laundered face masks. I love that I can use the Blood Orange and Clove Essential Oils to create a Drawer Deodorizer. I put the cotton bag in my drawer to help give my face masks a nice clean smell before I put them on for the day!
To make the Drawer Deodorizer, add the Blood Orange and Clove essential oils to a bowl. Roll the small cotton balls around in the bowl and let them soak up the essential oils. Allow the cotton balls to dry for 1-2 minutes. Then, drop them into the cotton bag. Place the bag in a drawer that you want to keep fresh. Refresh with essential oils as needed.
Recipe 2: No Stink Disk
Have you ever had a stinky spot in your house that needed a little help? These No Stink Disks are to the rescue! I’ve used them to deodorize a garbage bag, linen closet and you can also break up the disk and flush it down the toilet to freshen the bathroom.
To make this recipe, mix Lemon Eucalyptus, Blood Orange and Clove Essential oils and the fractionated coconut oil to a bowl. Mix. Divide and press mixture into mold. Allow mixture to rest overnight, or until it is completely dry. Remove the dried mixture from the molds and find a spot to put it that needs a little freshening up!
