It’s Fall Y’all Diffuser Blend

The Diffuser Blend this month is the It’s Fall Y’all Diffuser Blend, which will give your home that perfect Fall aroma with its Autumn Air, Mandarin and Breathe Easy oil blends. I whipped it up in THIS essential oils diffuser I found off Amazon. It comes in several different colors and I love its compact size and neutral color. It worked nicely at diffusing the It’s Fall Y’all Diffuser Blend throughout the room in my home.

 

 

Recipe #1: Natural Hydrating Body Spray

When I saw the recipe for this Natural Hydrating Body Spray, I thought this would be great to keep my skin moisturized as we get into the cooler Fall weather.

 

 

To make the Natural Hydrating Body Spray:

  1. In a double broiler, stir distilled water and vegetable glycerin together
  2. In a separate double boiler, add almond oil and emulsifying wax.
  3. At the same time, heat mixtures until they reach 150F. Both mixtures need to be this temperature in order to mix.
  4. Once both mixtures have reached 150F, take them off the heat. Pour water mixture into a bowl or into a blender. Turn on the blender so that a vortex forms. Slowly add wax mixture and blend for 5-7 minutes until mixture is thoroughly blended.
  5. Allow to cool to room temperature.
  6. Add essential oils and blend to incorporate.
  7. Pour into a spray bottle and label. To use, spray onto skin and gently rub in to nourish the skin.

 

 

Recipe 2: Exfoliating Body Polish

This Exfoliating Body Polish will get your skin looking its best. And, it smells just like Fall!

 

 

To make the Exfoliating Body Polish:

  1. In a double boiler add almond oil and emulsifying wax. Melt wax over a low heat.
  2. Once wax has melted, allow it to cool 1-2 minutes. Add essential oils and stir. Add sugar and stir.
  3. To use, apply to wet skin and scrub gently in a circular motion to cleanse and exfoliate skin. Rinse.
