Hospitality Diffuser Blend

The Diffuser Blend this month is the Hospitality Diffuser Blend, which has a combination of essential oils in it that gives your home all the calming vibes you need after a busy summer day (since we are all getting out so much more these days!). I recently purchased a larger essential oils diffuser for our family room (find it HERE), since it is such a large open space. It worked nicely at diffusing the Hospitality Diffuser Blend throughout the room in my home.

 

 

Recipe #1: Self-Care Lotion

One way I keep my legs extra smooth and soft in the summer, is that I apply a lotion to them after I shave. I was excited to see a Self-Care Lotion in this month’s recipe box. For the Self-Care Lotion, you’ll need 1 oz lotion base (included in this month’s box), 1 drop Spearmint Essential Oil, 4 drops Grapefruit Essential Oil and 2 drops of Homebody Essential Oil Blend.

 

To make the Self-Care Lotion:

  1. Add essentials oils to lotion base. Stir well to mix.
  2. To use, apply to moisturize and soothe skin.

 

 

Recipe 2: Lavender Hydrosol Everything Spray

The Lavender Hydrosol is a super versatile ingredient. There are several ways to use it:

 

  1. Body and Room Spray – Spray in a room to freshen the space or spray as a subtle body spray.
  2. Skin Care – Spray directly on the skin to soothe and support your skin’s health.
  3. Bath – Add 1 tsp of Lavender Hydrosol to your bath for a refreshing and soothing bath.

 

 

Recipe #3: Mama Inhaler

This Mama Inhaler can be kept in your bag or favorite drawer in the house and can be used whenever you need a sense of peace. For this Mama Inhaler, you’ll need Aluminum Inhaler (included in this month’s box), 1 drop Spearmint Essential Oil, 3 drops Cedarwood Essential Oil and 5 drops of the Grapefruit Essential Oil.

 

To make the Mama Inhaler:

  1. Open the inhaler and remove cotton wick.
  2. Place the wick in a bowl and add essential oils to the cotton.
  3. Use a tweezers to move the cotton wick around so it absorbs all of the oils.
  4. Use the tweezers to place the cotton wick back into the inhaler. Close the inhaler.

To use: Remove the aromatherapy inhaler cap. Place the inhaler near one nostril while plugging the other. Breathe in deeply. Repeat with the other nostril to support a sense of peace. Refresh inhaler as needed.
