Well, I am back with my first fashion post for the New Year!! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and got some time to relax, reflect, work on goals, enjoy time with their family and eat lots of yummy foods/drinks!
Today I’m sharing one of my favorite tops that I received c/o Aventura from their fall/winter collection. I am wearing their Rylan Top in Twilight Blue (available in other colors). The blue color with the relaxed cheetah print is what attracted me to this top. If you know me (I’m looking at you Leslie!), then you know I love the color blue in my closet. But, I typically wear a lighter shade of this color in the summer. However, for this outfit I decided to embrace the ‘winter blues’ and added in some fun prints with the cheetah print and the croc pattern on my bag. Lastly, if you don’t know already… Aventura offers sustainable products and they are Fair Trade Certified. This top is 100% modal twill, which means it is a bio-based fabric made from the wood pulp of beech trees. It’s soft, breathes well and is very absorbent.
I wanted to add one last note in this post. This is my first fashion post in 3+ years where it hasn’t been part of Thursday Fashion Files! It feels SO weird! I was curious if anyone would be interested if I were to share a post on why I decided to quit the fashion link up party after so many years? I wasn’t sure if there would be any interest in that… but, if there is some interest I may set aside some time to share my thoughts and feelings.
