I’ve been trying to order a Stitch Fix box every other month and this schedule seems to work well for me (and my budget). This box was a good one, but there were a few items that I knew I definitely didn’t need/want. However, I did land up buying TWO tops and they are both AWESOME. So, this box was definitely worth it! I try not to buy more than one item per box, but these tops together were about what I usually pay for one item (since I went with denim and leggings the last two boxes).
So, what is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is sort of like having your own personal shopper! You fill out a survey online (it includes photos of different outfits) and it helps them decide which outfits and which price range you fit into. They send you 5 pieces (tops, bottoms, accessories, jewelry, etc., etc.) and you decide which items you want to keep. After you’ve decided what you want to keep, you ship the rest back within 3 business days. If you buy all of the items you get a discount. There is a monthly fee of $20 that you will lose if you do not buy any of the 5 items. But, if you buy just one item they will subtract that $20 from your order.
And, if you sign up using my code, you’ll help me earn $25.00 off my next Stitch Fix box! To sign up under me, click HERE.

Items One and Two
THML Jaye Cutout Shoulder Top – $44.00 – KEPT
But from the Kloth – Diatta Cropped Trouser – $78.00 – RETURNED
I asked my stylist to send some cold shoulder or off the shoulder tops. I was glad she went with the cold shoulder option, because I just received an off the shoulder top from SheIn. This top is pretty classy for a cold shoulder top in that I even wore it to church last Sunday. There is just a ‘peak’ of your shoulder (and if my hair is down it covers it a little) and the fabric and pattern are more on the dressier side. What I really love about this top is the yellow lining around the shoulders… yellow is one of my favorite accent colors in the Spring/Summer! So, of course I got out my yellow tipped flats to wear with the top! I also love that the top is navy and white and not b/w, which gives it more of a lighter summer vibe.
I purchased this rainbow necklace last year at Charming Charlie. It goes with almost anything and instantly gives you a pop of color to light up your face. I get SO many compliments on this necklace when I wear it.
I’m also wearing the denim trousers that they sent me in these photos. It seems any type of pants that Stitch Fix sends, they fit SOOOO well! I want to just get all of my pants from Stitch Fix, seriously! Unfortunately, I already have a pair of cropped denim trousers, although between just you and me… I really love the pair Stitch Fix sent me more. 😉 Unfortunately, I can’t buy everything in the box… so, they went back! I did ask my stylist to send me some cropped pants, but I asked for them in bright colors or patterns. Oh well!
Items Three and Four
Dex Oakleigh Faux Leather Trim Blouse – $48.00 – KEPT
Toms Del Rey Lace-Up Sneakers – $98.00 – RETURNED
I was so excited to receive this floral top with a leather trim. The fit is nice in that it is forgiving around the waist and I love the trendy pleats on it. Of course, I had to pair this floral top with my scalloped shorts that I purchased from Pumps & Push Ups boutique last year. 🙂 It really brings out the pink in the flowers!
I’ve had this floral necklace FOREVER, but it is SUCH a gorgeous necklace! It goes perfect with this top!
I asked my stylist to send me a pair of neutral colored lace up sandals… I got a pair of lace up TENNIS SHOES. Ummm, not sure how that happened? Oh well. I do love Toms and I am sure these shoes would be great for our trip to Italy, since we’ll be walking all day long… but, it just wasn’t what I was looking for. It is fun that Stitch Fix has a shoe option now, though!
Item Five
RD Style Josalyn Maxi Dress – $88.00 – RETURNED
As soon as I pulled out this dress, I knew… I didn’t like it. It is probably a good thing that I don’t like it, because it was way too long with flats and I doubt I’d wear this dress with heels. Anyway, just TOO many patterns and patterns I don’t really like.. don’t really like the colors. Don’t like. Went back! I paired the dress with my fringe necklace and sandals, which was fun.
The straps on the back of the dress were kinda cool, though.
Well, that is it! I am not sure if this was my absolute favorite Stitch Fix box, but I am happy with the velvet leggings. If I can find ONE item to keep, I am happy… because, I only like to buy one item each time to keep the cost down. My favorite part is receiving a box full of goodies to try on and a lot of times I’ll purchase something I would have never selected for myself… such as these velvet leggings. 🙂
