I’ve been working on a lot of home decor projects lately. The two big ones are the family room and our patio space out back. I went to several stores to look at pillows on Monday to find some pillows to match the monogrammed pillows I made HERE AND to find pillows for our patio furniture. The photo on the (left) shows the pillows that we purchased this weekend for our patio furniture (which is going to be delivered in a week!). I’ve also been hinting for Brian to get me this gorgeous sofa table for Mother’s Day, I have a special spot for it in our family room… and, I’ve only been eyeing it at Hobby Lobby for a year now!
I got an outside run in this week on my favorite trail right by our house, it was a beautiful day! I also have some exciting running news to share in my upcoming Currently post (unless you’ve already seen the announcement on Facebook!). One night this week I made Jill’s (from Doused in Pink) chipotle bowl recipe!
On Friday, Brian took the day off work and we had a day date! It was a lot of fun! We had crepes for breakfast, went outlet shopping and then stopped at a winery! Friday evening, Autumn got to plant a flower for Earth Day. The rest of the weekend was spent running errands and cleaning (boo!). I hope you had a good weekend!

Last week Shonee from HAWTHORNE AND MAIN shared her Hanging Gutter Planter. I didn’t realize until I headed over to her post that this was a free DIH workshop at Home Depot. I really need to check out one of their workshops sometime! I am always looking for new containers to plant my flowers and this gutter planter idea is brilliant!
