Welcome back to our DIY/Craft Link Up Party! Thank you for stopping by every week!
Time for some weekly recap photos:
(Left) The kids Spring photos from school came back. Of course, I had to buy some! 🙂 (Right) Autumn was sick on Thursday with a little cold and fever. I think she has taken after my ‘list making’ obsession. This may not look like a list, but it was a list of what she wanted to do while she was home sick. In Autumn language, this list means: play with dolls, play with dolls and Build a Bears and play with Build a Bears. Sigh… she kept me busy! 🙂
(Left) This has been an icky week on so many levels. On Wednesday we noticed Nathan’s hamster was not doing well in the morning before school. Brian stayed home with Snowball (the hamster) while I took the kids to school and he died a couple of minutes before I got back home. Santa brought Nathan Snowball in 2nd grade and Nathan was pretty devastated… well, we all were. Brian and Nathan buried Snowball in the garden out back. (Right) To help get Nathan’s mind off of Snowball, we took him to the store to get a new pet. I thought we were going to come home with a guinea pig, but instead we came home with a different kind of hamster in a pretty rusty orange color. Nathan named him Teddy and he is a little shy, but so, so sweet and is warming up to us. I love his little tail that sticks straight out!
My dad has also been in the hospital since Monday and is having a second surgery today. Prayers for my dad. I hope he can come home soon. I was sad he had to spend his birthday in the hospital, too. 🙁
