Welcome back to our DIY/Craft Link Up Party! Thank you for stopping by every week!
Time for some weekly recap photos:
(Left) The week started out with my FIRST visit to IKEA!! We have had a new IKEA store here in St. Louis since October of 2015, but we finally got there for the first time last week. I’ll be sharing more about our visit in my Currently post tomorrow! It was SO fun. (Right) It was also the start of Spring break for the kiddos! Autumn wanted to get out every toy she hadn’t played with in awhile or hadn’t played with yet (yes, we have some of those). She had a lot of fun with a Chocolate Pen that she got for her birthday last November. Such a NEAT toy if you are needing a gift idea for a 1st grader.
(Left) I planned some fun activities for the kids during Spring break. We went to the Zoo and became Zoo members again! We rode the train and Autumn even talked me into Build a Bear (ugh, wish they didn’t have one in our Zoo!). It was a gorgeous day! (Right) Autumn had a play date with her friend and we saw Zootopia and then took her friend to a park to meet up with one of my friends who has a boy in-between Nathan and Autumn’s age. It was a BUSY day, but lots of fun!
(Left) On St. Patrick’s Day, our little Leprechaun Nickel troll came and left goodies for the kids! They even had a chocolate coin hunt in the living room. This is a yearly tradition in our house. (Right) Nathan’s karate class had a St. Patrick’s Day party and a costume contest.
(Left) Brian was in Seattle the entire week the kids were on Spring break. He got to fly back home in first class and I was so jealous when he sent me this photo. (Right) Nathan has been wanting to go to the train museum, because he has gotten really interested in his electric trains again. So, off we went. Unfortunately, the weather had turned cold here again. Don’t worry, it’ll be 72 for the high again on Tuesday. 🙂
WOW. That was a lot! And, I have a lot more to share in my Currently post tomorrow. Hope you all had a great weekend!
