Welcome back to our DIY/Craft Link Up Party! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Labor Day Weekend! My big project this weekend is painting! Yes, I am painting three pieces of furniture in Autumn’s room on a weekend when I should be relaxing. 😉 The furniture was my childhood furniture and is a yellow color and I’m working on painting the pieces white so that they will match her room better. Whew.
But, don’t worry… I did have a little fun on Friday night. 🙂 Brian and I went to our first Food Truck Friday at Laumeier Sculpture park. It was TONS of fun! They even had a food truck for PETS! :O
Oh, and I also tried out some hair extensions this weekend… and, it was FUN! Stay tuned for THAT post this Thursday at Thursday Fashion Files!!

Picnic in a Jar
Lindi at Love Create Celebrate shared her picnic in a jar last week at our Creative Corner party. My family LOVES to go on picnics and I had never seen anything cuter for a picnic. Mason jars filled with goodies such as hummus, crackers & cheese, veggies, fruit, sandwiches and homemade cookies! Oh, this would be a HIT! I can’t wait to try this out for our next family picnic. And, did you notice the wood slice chalkboard labels for each jar? SO cute!
