Recently, I was able to do a little shopping on Nordstrom via Splender! Nordstrom is one of my favorite stores, but it is not always affordable to shop there (unless you wait for the anniversary sale like me!). I have been wanting a pair of Toms Desert Wedge booties for a long time! I also really enjoy buying cosmetics with Nordstrom, because they offer free shipping (no minimum $50 purchase) and you get 3 free samples!
Well, I am going to let you in on a little secret… Did you know that you can earn money back WHILE shopping your favorite stores? If not, then let me introduce you to Splender!
Splender Benefits:
- Cash back on your online purchases (get up to 40% cash back!!)
- 800+ popular stores to choose from
- Stack cash back, coupons & offers to increase your savings (Example: 15% off sale + extra 30% off coupon + 5% cash back = big savings)
Now, are you ready to see how I styled these new items? I thought it would be fun to style the wedge booties with a summer dress paired with a fur vest. This will be a perfect layered look come next month when the weather is a little brisk in the morning and evening, yet warm during the afternoon.
I also purchased MAC eye shadow in Copperplate. I bought it specifically to line my lower lashes with and love how it looks!
I am wearing the MAC eye shadow under my lower lashes in this photo, I wish you could see it better… but, it really blends in and looks natural while bringing my eye color out more.
These TOMS wedges do have a high heel, which I don’t normally wear… but, they are so comfortable and it doesn’t even feel like I have a high heel on… I could even run in these 🙂 well, after the kids. 😉
I decided to add a little jewelry to the outfit to spice it up. Turquoise and gold, of course!
You’ll see my hair wrap is still in, I finally took it out a few days ago. It was a lot of work to get mine out and then my daughters. We are so going to get them again when we go back to Disney. 🙂
Are you ready to see how this Splender thing works?
Here you’ll see I am logged into Splender and I have selected Nordstrom as my store. You’ll also see that I am going to receive 8% cash back from Splender by shopping at Nordstrom. Woohoo!
This screen shows my purchases and I received the everyday free shipping from Nordstrom AND the TOMS Wedge booties were on sale! What a deal!
This is how the Cash Back Process Works:
1. Select a store at the Splender site
2. Click a deal or offer you want and you’ll be transferred to that store’s website
3. Complete your purchase on the store’s website as you normally would
4. The store then pays Splender a commission for sending you there to shop
5. Splender shares that money with YOU in the form of cash back
If you look at the red circle, you’ll see I earned back $7.59 on this purchase from Splender! Amazing!
