Welcome back to another week of the Motivational Monday Link Up Party! Hope yours was great! My weekend was really relaxing… and, I got started on a project that I’ve been wanting to do FOREVER! Friday night I went to Lowes and finally got the stuff I needed to repaint our Master Bathroom vanity! Can’t wait to share a reveal post on that in a couple weeks!
Brian and I also got out for a DATE night! We were supposed to go on a dinner boat cruise on the Mississippi, but with all of the rain we’ve had here the river is too high and they canceled it. SO, we decided to go to Stellina’s which has THE BEST homemade pasta in St. Louis! We also enjoyed a cheese tray app and a bottle of Italian wine. Perfect! Afterwards, my husband took my outfit photos for the week at a nearby park during the magic hour! It doesn’t get much better than that.
Sunday I spent most of the day painting, relaxing and working on going through all of our Disney vacation photos! On Friday I’ll be sharing our first day in Disney and a little about the hotel we stayed at. Stay tuned! Tonight I’m hoping to get in our pool and do a little reading (I have a waterproof Kindle Fire case) and maybe a glass of wine. Should be nice and relaxing! Hope y’all had a wonderful weekend!
Once again, sharing my meal plan today 🙂
Meal Plan Week 69
Chinese sounds good 🙂
Wednesday – Dinner Out
It seems we are having a lot of pasta-type dishes this week. Thats ok 🙂 This zucchini lasagna is one of my FAVORITE meals to make, but it takes forever. Thankfully, it makes enough for leftovers for the next day, which is rare in our house.
Autumn checked out a book at the library, Snowy Day Vegetable Soup by Melissa Iwai that talks about a daughter making homemade soup with her mom and the recipe is in the back of the book, so I thought we’d make it for dinner.
We are trying one week with a meal service that delivers meals to our home (more about it later) and this is the first meal we plan to try out!

Meet Your Hosts
Ready to share what has been motivating you this past week? Link up a recent post of yours, something that motivates you to create or just be awesome! Our goal is for this link up to focus on craft, DIY, & home posts so please try to remember that when linking up.
- Limit it to three links per week and remember to link directly to your post, not your blog.
- Do not link stores, giveaways, or other link parties.
- Be sure to hop around some of the other posts that have been linked up to share the love and get motivated by what others have been up to…because of course, this is Motivational Monday after all.
Each week, your hosts will choose a few posts to feature from the previous week. If you want a chance at being featured, you must follow all of the hosts. By linking up, you agree to let each host share your photo and link back to your site. Link party goes live Sunday 6pm PST and ends Thursday at 5pm PST.
Feel free to grab a Motivational Monday button in the sidebar to put on your own blog if you want to help spread the love!
Wine Ice Cream
Paris from My Big Fat Happy Life shared a homemade WINE (yes, yes!!) ice cream recipe last week. Wine + Ice Cream = Perfect Summer Dessert IMHO. I had to feature this, plus I pinned it to make it next time I get our homemade ice cream machine out. Even better, you don’t have to share it with the kids, because it has alcohol in it. Gosh, darn… 😉
