Today is an exciting day! First… Rachel (from Garay Treasures) and I are both sharing our indentical hot pink chevron striped skirts from Old Navy AND I am sharing what Rocksbox sent me this month ALONG with a free code to get you ONE free month with the Rocksbox jewelry subscription service (more details on that below!).
Rachel styled her skirt with a gorgeous statement necklace and chambray top while I styled mine with MORE pink by wearing a pineapple tank (be sure to scroll down to see a photo of the gorgeous bow detail on the back) from my new favorite online boutique – Pumps & Push-Ups Collection.
You may have heard about Rocksbox while scrolling through your Instagram feed or perhaps you are wanting to know more about Rocksbox. Rocksbox is a jewelry subscription service where you pay a flat rate of $19 a month to ‘borrow’ a few pieces of designer jewelry (think, Kendra Scott!) each month based on a survey you fill out. You can even make special requests via your stylist and she will try and meet your needs and will also leave you a special note each time. You can wear your jewelry pieces for as long as you want and when you return them you’ll be sent another three pieces of jewelry. If you want to keep any of the pieces in your Rocksbox, you can purchase them and only return the pieces you do not wish to keep.
Here is the personal letter that my stylist wrote me. There was a layered necklace she included from my wish list and she selected other pieces to go with it.
These were the three pieces that they sent me and I was really, really pleased with ALL of them! And, of course… I took a detail shot of each and will include my honest opinion about each piece below.
Gorjana – Luna Layer Necklace – $56
This was a piece I selected when I filled out my initial survey. I remembered the piece and was excited when my stylist selected it for this box! When opening the box, I knew I was going to keep one piece of jewelry as a treat to myself… but, I thought it would be the Kendra Scott earrings… however, this necklace is a real winner… Its ONE necklace, but looks like two necklaces with two chains. I also really like how simple it is, I wore it with a romper just today and it looked GREAT with it!
Kendra Scott – Elle Earrings in Rose Quartz – $41
These earrings were a big surprise when I opened the box. I have always seen Kendra Scott earrings in bright colors such as emerald, hot pink or neon yellow… but, this subdued rose color was really nice, too! I’m still not sure if I will purchase the Kendra Scott earrings or the Luna Layer Necklace yet, but its going to be a tough decision. I’ve always wanted a pair of Kendra Scott earrings, so we’ll see… I wish I could afford both. 🙂
Jenny Bird – Moonsong Midi Ring – $35
I have been wearing this ring the past few days and it’s cute… but, I could definitely do without it. It is also a really simple ring for $35 and the band is adjustable, which I don’t know if I like that… adjustable rings remind me of the rings my 6 year old wears 😉 However, I don’t hate it and so I am enjoying it on my finger until I decide to ship this box back!
If you would like to try out Rocksbox, you can get ONE entire month for FREE by using the code curlycraftymomxoxo ! This is a great way for you to try out the subscription service without any cost to you and you’ll earn me some referral points, which will help me to buy more pieces! I would appreciate it (love you forever!) if you would give it a try! I promise you won’t be disappointed…
