Welcome back to another week of the Motivational Monday Link Up Party! We just got back from a WONDERFUL Disney World vacation! You’ll see a few photos from our trip below and you can see more on my Instagram account (click HERE to follow!). I am planning to blog about each of the five days of our trip once I get a chance to go through all of the photos… so, if you love Disney- you’re in for a treat. If you don’t, well… you can always skip the vacation posts. 🙂
I hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th holiday! How is it July already? The summers seem to go faster and faster… and, I don’t even want to see a back to school supply list for SEVERAL more weeks (right?!!). The kids were with their dad this 4th and I missed them a lot, but we got to do fireworks at Disney with them. Brian and I went to a mall where you can park and ‘tail-gate’ while you wait for the fireworks. It was pretty low-key and we had hot dogs, a boozie pop (sorry, no photos of that!) and we brought a cheese and fruit platter from home. Yum! I also got to relax and read my book on my Kindle for a couple of hours while we waited for fireworks, which was really relaxing!

Meet Your Hosts
Ready to share what has been motivating you this past week? Link up a recent post of yours, something that motivates you to create or just be awesome! Our goal is for this link up to focus on craft, DIY, & home posts so please try to remember that when linking up.
- Limit it to three links per week and remember to link directly to your post, not your blog.
- Do not link stores, giveaways, or other link parties.
- Be sure to hop around some of the other posts that have been linked up to share the love and get motivated by what others have been up to…because of course, this is Motivational Monday after all.
Each week, your hosts will choose a few posts to feature from the previous week. If you want a chance at being featured, you must follow all of the hosts. By linking up, you agree to let each host share your photo and link back to your site. Link party goes live Sunday 6pm PST and ends Thursday at 5pm PST.
Feel free to grab a Motivational Monday button in the sidebar to put on your own blog if you want to help spread the love!
DIY Tribal Art
Chandra from Hash Tag Blessed shared her wooden tribal art DIY project last week. I have a love for wood art and need to find time to do more of my own wooden projects. She had a stash of chevron wooden veneers and added them to the 5×7 stained board. To give it a more finished look, she did a horizontal and vertical brush stroke along all sides of the board. The finished piece looks great and I love how it looks on this decorated shelf in her home.
