Welcome to Thursday Fashion Files!
Welcome to Thursday Fashion Files with Jill at Doused in Pink and Carrie at Curly Crafty Mom! We are excited to have you here and would love to have you link up one of your latest outfits with us. Last week was a BIG week for us, because we had OVER 100 link ups! It is so exciting to cross into the three digits and its because of all of YOU! Thanks!
We are always looking for Co-Hosts for Thursday Fashion Files. If you haven’t signed up to Co-Host, but are interested, sign up by clicking HERE. If you have already signed up for a Co-Host spot, take note that the party is now starting on Thursday at 12:00 A.M. instead of Wednesday evening.
Keri from Living in this Season won the $50 gift card to AMI ClubWear! Congrats, Keri!
Today I am sharing the wine colored dress that AMI ClubWear sent me. This dress is sold out, but they have a lot of pretty Easter dresses that you can find here and an adorable lime green dress here that I would love to have in my closet. I put this dress on in the morning before we went to see Cinderella with my daughter and her friend. My husband joked that Autumn and I were dressed to go to ‘the ball’. How appropriate. Don’t worry, after my husband shot my pics for this post, I changed back into jeans for the movie. 🙂 Such is the life of a blogger! But, I do look forward to wearing this dress for a special occasion in the near future. Isn’t Autumn adorable in her Frozen dress? We really enjoyed the little Frozen skit before Cinderella, poor Elsa… I hope she feels better!
I didn’t realize that this would be a very form fitting dress when I selected it, but I went with it… I selected it, because of the wine color and the sparkly silver band above the waist.
I decided to wear a sparkly necklace to go with the sparkly band… just a simple strand, but very sparkly as you can see. This necklace really goes with anything, fancy or not. It is a staple in my opinion. I put on some dark green drop earrings as an accent against the wine color.
This dress was really long (and I am 5’7″!), so out came the tall (for me) wedges! These Carlos Santana wedges were my first ever Nordstrom purchase! I purchased them when Nordstrom first came to St. Louis and I haven’t been able to part with them.
Outfit Details:
Dress – AMI ClubWear
Wedges – Carlos Santana at Nordstrom (Vintage)
Necklace – Can’t remember (sorry!)
Earrings – Charming Charlie

Guest Co-Host:
This week I welcome Linda from A Labour of Life as our Guest Co-Host! Linda just shared a wonderful post entitled ‘10 Things Not to Wear Over 50′ and she shares her witty humor. Its a great read, be sure to check it out. Besides fashion, she enjoys sharing her travels, such as a recent cruise and she also has a weekly link up party called ‘A Labour of Fashion’.
We will each select a Top Two every week… visit both hosts blogs to see if YOU were chosen.
I selected Debbie from Fashion Fairy Dust, because this bare-legged, floral with pops of coral and mint is just screaming, “Oh how I missed you, Spring!” to me. I also really like fun blazers and this coral blazer needs to get in my closet now. I have also been wanting a pair of nude flats for Spring and these are perfect. Oh, and Debbie is known for her awesome collection of printed t-shirts, how F A B U L O U S is that?! Debbie was recently a co-host for us HERE where she is sharing her faux leather joggers.
