Ada and I decided TWO months ago to do a post about sharing a puffer vest 6 different ways between our two blogs. I was so excited about the post, but with all of the illness we’ve had in my household over December and early January and February… I sort of let the post go.
I have felt SO behind on everything lately… It kind of sucks. Anyway, my husband got me a self timer remote for my Canon Rebel on Christmas and I didn’t try it out until this post. I have to say… WOW. I am in love! It works great… and, if it wasn’t a blizzard outside I would have experimented with it outside. So, yes… all three of these outfits were taken inside and I would say the lighting may not be as good as outdoor photos, but in a time crunch it was all I could do. And, when it comes to changing outfits three times (ok, the first outfit I did on a separate day)… then, sometimes a self timer remote is the key to keeping the husband sane! LOL! And, it kept me warm as I could take my time indoors.
So, I am thrilled to be able to offer you this post… learn how I style a puffer vest THREE ways and then stop over to Ada’s blog and see how she styles a puffer vest another way… So, you’ll see a total of SIX ways to style a puffer vest!! Happy Friday y’all!!!
Outfit #1 – Puffer Vest with Scarf
I always love wearing a scarf with a puffer vest. With this particular outfit, I found a scarf with purples, pinks and browns and matched the darker purple in the scarf with my sweater, jewelry and clutch. The light purples/pinks match my raspberry colored puffer and jewelry… and, the browns match my brown boots! Such a fun outfit to run around in!

Outfit #2 – Puffer Vest with Dress
A puffer also looks really nice with a dress. My other two puffers are black and white (I have a herringbone puffer and a b/w striped puffer) and they go with a lot of different colors. Since this puffer is raspberry colored, I have to be a little careful with what I pair it with in my closet. I have this winter dress (it has a thin turtleneck, so there is no way I can transition it to Spring or Summer) in a navy color and the raspberry color in my puffer blends beautifully with it. The dress is fairly modest, so I love to add a little pizzaz to it with some leopard print,

Outfit #3 – Puffer Vest over Military Jacket with Distressed Denim
Finally, I want to share a super casual way that I wear this raspberry vest. Almost every fashion blogger has a military jacket and it is so fun to layer my vest OVER the military jacket. And, thankfully… this olive green goes perfectly with the raspberry color of my vest. I needed to wear a tee under the vest and jacket and was going to go with the all too popular stripes… but, decided to add some mini polka dots instead! This white tee (with black dots) goes nicely with my white lace Toms. I know, it isn’t Easter yet… but, as soon as you flip the page on the calendar it is going to be April 5 and Easter! And… I am so ready to ditch the boots for ankle showing Toms! I also love the edge this spiked bracelet and the distressed skinnies gives to this super casual outfit.
