Welcome back to my second week hosting Motivational Monday! I hope you had a chance to link up last week and to visit some of the other guests posts. I have really enjoyed seeing all of the Thanksgiving crafts and we have two that we featured below to share with you today.
I will be sharing a Thanksgiving Menu later this week and before Thanksgiving I will be sharing a delicious T-Day themed snack that my daughter will be bringing for Daisy scouts later this week.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! My husband and son worked in the frigid temps to collect all of the cans for Scouting for Food this weekend while I stayed in our warm home with Autumn as we prepped her Frozen birthday party for our family. I hope to share photos from her party later this week… and, it was quite a ‘Frozen’ party, because we got some snow here, too! This November has been one of the chilliest that I can remember… brrr! But, luckily we had a hot chocolate bar at the party. I hope you all are ready for a new week and thanks for stopping by!
Highlights from Curly Crafty Mom This Week:
Tree Round Chalkboard Place Setting DIY Sequin Wifey Shirt
This week on Curly Crafty Mom, I shared a rustic and natural place setting for Thanksgiving. I had some leftover birch rounds from a Halloween ornament craft, so I made them into initial chalkboard napkin rings! I tucked in a few feathers and wheat to give it a more natural feel.
Earlier in the week, Brian and I went hiking on a pretty steep and rocky trail. I made a bucket list for just us (we have a separate one of activities to do with the kids) and it was nice to finally hike on this trail. I wore my DIY sequin wifey shirt and posted it on Instagram (if you don’t already follow me, you can by clicking HERE). I had a lot of people asking me about this shirt, which I made back in September. If you are looking for the post and directions on how to make your own sequin shirt, click HERE.
Now on to this week’s party!
Meet Your Hosts
Ready to share what has been motivating you this past week? Link up a recent post of yours, something that motivates you to create or just be awesome! Our goal is for this link up to focus on craft, DIY, & home posts so please try to remember that when linking up.
- Limit it to three links per week and remember to link directly to your post, not your blog.
- Do not link stores, giveaways, or other link parties.
- Be sure to hop around some of the other posts that have been linked up to share the love and get motivated by what others have been up to…because of course, this is Motivational Monday after all.
Each week, your hosts will choose a few posts to feature from the previous week. If you want a chance at being featured, you must follow all of the hosts. By linking up, you agree to let each host share your photo and link back to your site. Link party goes live Sunday 6pm PST and ends Thursday at 5pm PST.
Feel free to grab a Motivational Monday button in the sidebar to put on your own blog if you want to help spread the love!
A Little Thanksgiving Home Tour from Little Brags
This Thanksgiving Patio is just darling! I just love the garland of gourds, oversized pillows and throws… and her rabbit Bugsy even came out to take a peak. I used to own three (!!) jersey wooly bunnies, so I have a soft spot for bunnies.
Give Thanks Turkey Slat Sign from Homemade Interest
I love wooden signs and this turkey sign from Homemade Interest is perfect for Thanksgiving with the turkey displaying subway art chock full of ‘thankful’ phrases.
Don’t forget to grab this button if you’ve been featured. Copy the HTML in the box below to display the button.
Now it’s your turn! Link up your recent craft, diy, or home posts and get ready to motivate others and be motivated!
