There are so many cartoons out there these days and I’m always trying to find new ones that are a good fit for my kids. That’s why I am so excited to tell you about Oscar’s Oasis, the hilarious non-verbal cartoon series for kids from TeamTO! This high-energy, action-packed show is available to stream on Netflix.
Oscar’s Oasis is perfect for school aged kids. You’ll follow Oscar, a gecko lizard in his adventures in the desert as he searches for water and food. Sometimes Oscar will find water in a bottle, or steal an egg from the chicken coup, but somehow a problem always arises. Oscar has some friends, such as Popy, a bossy fox; Buck, a geeky vulture and Harchi, a strong hyena, all with whom he’s always competing for resources.
Stuck in the middle of the arid desert, Oscar and his friends (and foes!) try to survive and, above all, not die from boredom in their endless quest to find water, shade, food, and something fun to do. Life can be tough for a lonely lizard and it sometimes seems like the entire world is against him… which, in the case of Oscar, it often is! However, Oscar always tries to make the best of every situation in this pleasantly amusing cartoon.
