I’ve done a couple of winter races and I wanted I’ve done a couple of winter races and I wanted to recap them with you all today! Back in December I ran the 🍫Hot Chocolate 15K☕️ and more recently I ran the Snowball Series Kirkwood 4 Mile Race. I used my coach to train for the 15K race and I was REALLY happy with my time! YAYYY!🏅 For the ❄️Kirkwood Snowball Series race⛄️, the weather conditions were not optimal at all and they had people warning us of ice/black ice🥶and we had to walk several sections of the race. SO, that was definitely more of an obstacle course than a race. But, after being inside on the treadmill for a couple of weeks after the huge ice storm, I was just glad to get outside to run at that point! I would really love to run that race again under better conditions (as in NO ice!).
